We were looking to purchase a mobile home. We had met with a different realtor on Saturday and they were nice enough, but certainly not engaging to what we were interested in. Over the weekend I found a home of interest on the internet... tried to reach the listing realtor, but never received a call back. I include the two previous experiences with realtors to show the contrast to the above and beyond service we received from Cathy Bucalo of Advantage.

Following up on the home I found on the internet myself I visited the park to inquire regarding the rules of the park. The office administrator informed me the home I was interested in was sold, but there was another similar home available.

Cathy happened to be in the park office and we were introduced. Although she had a full busy day, she took the time to show me the home.

She returned every call in a timely manner. She even met us in her office on Christmas Eve at 10:00 PM.in order to get our offer in first.

I highly recommend her and thank her for my first truly professional realtor experience... this after 5 other less than pleasant purchasing experiences over our lifetime.

I was looking for the right person to represent the sale of our manufactured home in Oceanside. I interviewed 2 other agents before I called Cathy Bucalo. I picked up one of her flyers from a house she just sold in the same park we were in. As soon as we spoke on the phone, I immediately liked her. She was a no nonsense, get to the point person, plus I could tell she was also fun to be around with. I was right. I decided to have Cathy help us sell our house.

The process was smooth and easy. I did not have to sign a listing agreement, fortunately the house sold within just weeks after Cathy put up the For Sale sign outside. I am writing in regard to the free Easter Event. I want to say how fun it was for my cousins and my relatives who visited from another city.

There were so much food including cotton candy, popcorn, soda, bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, games, and a huge Easter egg hunt to top it off.

Overall, it was a joyous experience and Gabby and Trinity made such a good impression on my relatives. Will be coming back and not just for the events. The hospitality was amazing and will refer to friends and family who are looking to buy or rent homes in the future.

I have had the pleasure to work with Robert from advantage homes 2 times, first in 2002 when he helped me purchase a beautiful manufactured home in Hayward and again in 2013 when I sold the home to another family. Robert really knows this business and is a pro. He not only got me a custom built 3 bedroom 2 bath house that I was in love with.. but when it was time to sell and get something bigger he sold the home before I even had to put it on the market! If you are wondering whether or not to go with Advantage I would say, don't think twice they are top notch!

First off GREAT Hispanic culture in the office yet of course they are giving the best service in both English and Spanish via email they are very quick in responding and as a buyer my personal experience was amazing with Veronica.

Can't complain about communication with her she's on point with her job and helping of course to her full potential, as a client that's exactly what you're looking for. I appreciate all the hard work you had to deal with me and the million questions, that's including the entire team on board.

We purchased a mobile home through Anna Costa and Advantage Homes six years ago and were very pleased with her expertise. When we decided to sell that home this year and move out of state we immediately contacted Anna again to handle our listing. She represented us and the buyer of our home. There was never any fear of a conflict of interest. We knew we were in good hands with Anna and highly recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling a mobile home in the Fremont/Hayward area.

My father passed away suddenly and I found myself needing to liquidate his estate. His primary residence was a manufactured home. I did some research on what I thought would be the current market value of the home and then began to enlist the help of a Realtor. I spoke with the park management and they referred me to one commonly used Realtor that was heavily used in the park. After my initial meeting with that individual they proposed a selling price $70k below what I thought was the market value.

I then came across a Realtor from Advantage Homes, Ms. Cathy Bucalo. She was so extremely helpful through the entire process. Cathy is well versed on the process of buying/selling manufactured homes and has a strong pulse on the market. She instructed me on what needed to be done to the home in order to get the home listed and communicated with me throughout the process. She was instrumental when our first buyer withdrew from the process. She told me to stay focused and the right person will come along.

The right buyer did come along shortly thereafter and Cathy orchestrated a deal not just meeting my market value assumption but $29k more than what I had originally thought. If I would have done the quick and easy thing by using the first Realtor I would have missed out on $100k.

Cathy was empathic to my situation, determined to sell the property during a pandemic and kept me thinking positively when sometimes things weren't going my way. I would recommend to anyone do some homework on your property and interview prospective Realtors. Find the perfect one, like I did with Cathy, and you too could have an unexpected surprise at the end, mine was $100k.
