I recently bought an Advantage home. I didn't know what to expect as this was our first mobile home purchase. Let me say, like everyone, you are always skeptical about any new purchase, especially one as large as a new home. My dealing with Advantage Homes was nothing but the smoothest, professional, and assuring transaction I have experienced in my 62 Years on the Planet. My agent Cathy Bucalo, was very attentive, informative, thorough, and went above and beyond to help me as well as the Seller with our transaction. She protected and helped me immensely with the mound of paperwork, and mediating the negotiations back and forth with the seller. I am sure we both drove her bananas skipping rope a lot more times then our turn in a sale of this sort. I literally must have driven her crazy with my dozens of questions, phone calls, hypothetical scenarios and situations. Not to mention her getting it from both ends as she wore two impartial hats in this sale representing both seller and buyer. She never missed a beat. Soup to Nuts all aspects of the transaction were closely nurtured and scrutinized by her for preciseness,accuracy, disclosures, finances, and legalities to avoid any unpleasantnesses, unforeseen hidden costs, or issues for both sides. Reading another reviewers comments I take offense to the fact they referred to ALL the people working at this company as untrustworthy, crooks, and dishonest. I cannot give my personal assurances for anyone else at this company(can't fathom my agent working for anyone like that however) but as for my individual Agent Cathy Bucalo it couldn't be further than the truth. She is a very hard working lady with high Moral fiber, character, integrity, and honest as the day is long. No bait and switch, last minute ploy or schemes to get more money, or show favoritism to either side. One of those wonderful people one rarely meets that makes you feel right at home from the first moment you meet them. Cathy Bucalo listed my 1976 mobile home while it was in a condition of 70% renovated. This was by far the most unusual listing ever! The floors were not in. The kitchen was not in. Two rooms and two ceilings needed to be completed with drywall. The master bathroom was in its original 1976 condition and the guest bathroom was completely gutted. Cathy found a buyer and completed the escrow flawlessly.

When Cathy took the listing she told me that it was going to be without photos. I almost nixed the idea but went along. We were in escrow five days after the listing was posted! If you work with Cathy, listen to her. She knows the market and the industry and will do you right. I am forever thankful for her professionalism and integrity.

He suggested and pointed out many great things and understand our needs. He walked us through the process and answer all our questions and concerns. My Mother, my Husband, and myself are so thrilled to have worked with Advantage Homes to have finally settled into our home as of last November. We had been working with other San Diego companies but it just didn't seem as if they took us seriously that our need to get into a home was immediate. After getting approved for the loan we had some hurdles with the park approval, the property management, that was long and drawn out but, Cj from Advantage kept on them by making numerous follow up phone calls, as well as driving out to the property itself to speak with the Park Manager, and of course keeping us in the loop with day to day reports.
